There is currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease in 2019 (COVID-19). The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. However, as a reminder, RHC always recommends everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
  • Follow RHC’s recommendations for using a facemask.
    • RHC does not recommend that people who are well wearing a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19.
    • Facemasks should be used by people who show symptoms of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease to others. The use of facemasks is also crucial for health workers and people who are taking care of someone in close settings (at home or in a health care facility).
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
    • If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.

These are everyday habits that can help prevent the spread of several viruses. RHC does have specific guidance for travelers.

Rusayl Health Center (RHC) would like to congratulate His Majesty Haitham bin Tariq Al Said as His Majesty takes over as the Sultan of Oman. On this occasion, we pledge our commitment and loyalty to His Majesty’s efforts in continuing the reforms and development on the path that has been chartered by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos towards a prosperous future for this nation and for every citizen of this blessed country.

We’re excited to announce that our new and refreshed website is live. The updated site includes changes to navigation, with dropdown menus for both mobile and desktop versions. We’ve also improved the structure of our content, so you’ll get more from a quick read. There’s a whole host of smaller but impactful changes, all to make your experience of the Adjust site that much better for you. When we started the project we had big ideas, from updating company messaging to helping users get from one place to the next without skipping our most important content. Our solution was to split our site content into two places. We now have ‘Areas of practice’ and ‘Projects’ – if you’d like to know more about what we do, then our facilities and services pages can help. In the ‘Areas of practice’ pages, we’ve collected resources for a set of more specific use cases. We have also created a host of new graphics, published a gallery’s worth of images, and included a few updates that have made the site easier to use. We hope you like the changes, and if you have any feedback, please let us know through the contact us page, Facebook or Twitter.

Call us now if you are in a medical emergency need, we will reply swiftly and provide you with a medical aid.
